This contract position supports two school sitesan elementary school and a preschoolproviding a diverse and rewarding caseload for the 2026-27 school year.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and supportive services to students
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech and language needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Accurately document services and assessments using ECATS and Medicaid billing systems
- Serve primarily onsite to maintain strong interactions with students and staff
Qualifications And Preferred Experience
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Certification of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood and elementary speech-language development
- Familiarity with healthcare and educational documentation standards, including Medicaid billing
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and collaborate with the educational team
